X5 response time slows to crawl while using Wifi. Is this normal?

I have the X5 advanced with the CF sandisk wifi card (not the one ith 128 megs of memory) browsing is fine but it seems like the whole system slows to a crawl when using wifi I have latest A05 rom and wm 2003

are you using powersave mode and also it helps to do a soft reset while the wifi card is inserted and running

no using regular mode. i will try the soft reset button trick

Also make sure you clear your cache files out from time to time.
