I have had my Axim for 3 weeks now. I just noticed the little PDA icon on my IE tool bar. It says "create mobile favorite" when you highlight it. Has anyone used this function? Is it only for creating favorites for use in pokcet IE while wireless surfing? :o

I've used it. You set a page as a favourite and then be sure and have active sync include the favourite folder when it syncs. It's for offline viewing but doesn't link as deep as Avantgo. You're pretty much limited to the one page you've marked.

If you choose to 'make pages available offline', u can then right click on properties, and set link depth down to 3 max.

I don't see it. When I open IE, across the bottom I have the following:

View Tools 'Back Arrow icon' 'Stop/Refresh icon' 'home icon' 'favorites folder icon' 'hide pictures icon'

He's talking about IE on his Desktop PC. IE gets a new icon, and when you click it, it adds the web page to your moblie favorites. You can also get to your mobile favorites from your Destop IE under your "regular" favorites. (It's just a folder in there.)

You can then go to Tool/Synchronize and set properties for each site, like how many pages deep you want it to cache. I have all my local theaters movie listings in my mobile favorites. Now I always know what time a movie is playing. :)

This site is way...cool. I just looked up at my browser and LOL.....lookie what I have now to add favorite sites with.

Hmmm...wonder why Dell or MS did not point this out somehwere...oh well that's what this site is for.

Anyone know if netscape has a similar option. I'd assume not since: pocket internet explorer would link to internet explorer and probably not netscape but you never know

Simple question: where is the Favorites folder on the Axim?

On my PC I have a folder called Favorites (under Profiles). All I want to do is copy the links in that folder to a similar folder on the Axim.

When I click on the star (Favorites) in IE on the Axim, I see a folder called Mobile Favorites. But I can't find that folder anywhere when I use File Explorer! I really don't want mobile favorites --- I just want to synchronize my favorite links.

Thanks.

/Windows/Favorites is where the links are stored for Mobile Favorites.
