Outlook 2003 beta and ActiveSync

I was just about to give it a whirl, and realized I might have ActiveSync issues...has anyone given this a shot yet?

Its slow though... I find myself sometimes wishing for Outlook 2002... :rolling:

I think it also hogs the memory from time to time so you'll need to shut it down...

Wow, $20 S&H for the beta from microsoft!!! I cant believe they are charging this much for the privilege to debug their software. Do you at least get a discount when office 2003 is released???

LOL, I get it though my MSDN subscription... I'm sure they will have the bugs worked out. I might have something to do with the fact I'm still using Exchange 5.5 instead of 2000 or 2003. I'm not using it with a pop account so it might work better...

I'm finding it pretty stable but a little slow. The beta2 refresh should be quite a bit better. The biggest problem I have had has been with including an HTTP email account in addition to my POP account.

Cached mode for my Exchange account is worth the price of admission alone. :D

When would you want to do that?

I'm a mobile worker so I'm almost always VPNed to the office. Cached mode improves responsiveness greatly, and I haven't had a need to clear the cache. :D
