Downgrading an app... how do I remove it!!!

I have 2 versions of Resco Explorer. 5.4, which is just a demo, and 5.35, which Is complete.

I accidentally installed 5.4 and now, I uninstalled it, I uninstalled it from my desktop, I deleted the "resco" folder on my X5, and I deleted the coresponding polder on my desktop. but every time I run the 5.35 install, it installs 5.4!

How do I get rid of it, short of another hard reset??? I need the features and cant afford to form out another $25 needlessly... please help!

This happens when you uninstall the program from your PPC but do not remove it from your PC as well. Try reinstalling 5.4 onto your PPC, then uninstalling it again. However, when you uninstall it, use ActiveSync (and not the Remove Programs utility on your device) and make sure you click the Remove button next to where it says "To remove the selected program from both your device and this computer, click Remove" in your ActiveSync Add/Remove Programs screen.

BTW, a hard reset won't help you in this case since the problem rests on the PC side.
