Sync issue...

Whenever I sync now, everything works perfectly...but next to "Files" in ActiveSync on my PC...it says "9 items not synchronized".

That's it...no list, no log, nothing. I checked the program directory for some sort of sporting clue, a hint, a sync log...there's nothing.
So my question, how on earth do I figure out what files aren't synching? I tried to sync again, I tried the "resolve" solution. Nothing works. Those damn 9 files refuse to go through...and it won't even tell me what they are.

I am at work, and I do not have ActiveSync here, so I will try to help from memory. I had the same problem once. Within ActiveSync on your desktop, check the options where you can select what items you would like to synchronize (calendar, contacts, files, avantgo, etc.). Highlight the files selection, and click on the box to the right. I think it was options or properties or something to the likeness of that. Look through that list to see if you are trying to synch a file that no longer exists on your desktop.

Hope this helps. If you still haven't gotten it figured out by the time I get home from work, I will try to exactly retrace my steps and fill you in.

Solved!

Opened ActiveSync, clicked Options > Rules > Conflict Resolution > Desktop > "Always Replace The Items On My Device"

I selected that, and now everything works great. So basically you just have to tell it that your desktop PC is boss, and to always override any errors, by forcing copies into the Axim.

I'm happy.
