if you use tcpmp to play your movies 400mhz is plenty fast enough no need for overclocking

I have tried over clocking off and on over the years - dating back to my Hand spring PDA.

Overclocking never really made much diffrence, overall. I did see a slight improvment on my Handspring, but my old, slow iPaq or X50v never showed any benifits. Besides you risk the CPU (IE killing your PPC).

I know what you mean. Some of my games are touchy.

Try turning off all of your today screen programs and soft reset. Then try watching movies. There will be less programs competing for CPU time.

You can go one step further and so to windows/startup and copy all the contents to a dummy folder, then soft reset. then the only programs using the CPU would be the absolute necessary.

If this doesn't work, you may not have the processing power.

I think freeing up Ram is just as efficent for watching movies. Also increase your buffer in TCPMP(I guess this will work, correct me if I am wrong)
