I saw a thread couple days ago about using a thumb to soft reset instead of using a stylus to poke it. Is it true ? How ? Pls ?
Is a very good idea...to prevent making a hole to the rubber !!
Right ?
Yeah, mine pops as well if you use thumb. Sounds pretty bad, so I just use stylus and hope it doesn't rub through the rubber.

I also use the XP style Shutdown program unless my Axim is locked up. Then I will use my thumb. I would prefer not to have a hole pocked in the side of my Axim.

Using the fingernail can also work, or using the thumb can work as well if you positoin it right in your hand, and simply squeeze in... Thumbnail though should work if thumb doesn't. As for a soft reset program, why lose another button map just for that? The hardware buttons do their job fine.
I used my fingernail first, and noticed
a indentaion ... rubbed it a little and it
went away, now I just use any finger..
and it always works, and I never have
heard a popping sound...
But now I mostly use the softreset
windows xp style shutdown thing..
