ok well now i got it to start syncing but it only does it a little bit, then stops saying it cant sync still.

I get almost the same situation. I was able to connect with no problem, but suddenly I am not able to connect anymore. I get exactly the same error and made no changes to my system or my Axim. I tried a few suggestions with no success. Can anyone help?
I have a Toshiba Notebook, Dell Axim 51v, Windows XP SP2 and Activesync 4.5. What is strange is that I can connect to Activesync, but only as a Guest
