If anyone is interested, I could post a little "tutorial" or information thing on how to get your Axim communicating with Linux. I use Linux as my primary Operating System, and it took me a while, but I did eventually get it so I wouldn't have to boot up into Windows just to send a file to my Axim. Just let me know.
That's one of the methods I use. Synce. But it's not exactly user-friendly (I know I had problems with it at first) so I thought I could help some people out.
I'd be interested in knowing how you connect your Axim to a Linux system. What Linux system are you running? I primarily use Lindows, easy to install and setup, low learning curve.
My Linux servers are running samba, Axim connected via wireless. As long as you have samba configured to use encrypted passwords you can use File Explorer, select Open, and enter \\servername. You will then get a login prompt. After logging in you will have access to all of your shares configured in smb.conf
Dead. Still looking for a way to do it. SynCE didn't work for me... x50v. Error pops up on the dell Cannot Start communications with the desktop computer.

^^ BUMP :)
I'm also looking for a solution like this, therefore, Chris if you still read the Boards, can you please post your TXT document, or advise?
