Well, finally got it
After waiting all weekend, the axim is here and here to stay! I just got this and I never thought that I would go back to PPC after I had my clie, but now that I've experienced it all over again, the PPC os is awesome. I forgot how much fun it was to play with emus and such. My Dpad works great, altho it is a little soft. I also have the px255 so no complaints here! I live this guy-now just to get a case for it...

Are all of the new Axim's shipping with the px255? And if they are is it upgraded so that you can get full performance from i.e. the 200MHZ memory bus? Thanks for any input.

The new ones ship with px255, but I've heard mixed stories about the bus speed...

You will definitely put your Clie on the side....like myself.
Second, upgrade your rom to A03.

I lost my clie on a business trip, so works buying me my axim... If I had to pay for it myself, I'd wait till sony comes out with something comparible to the Palm Tunsten C, but since I'm not paying, might as well go with winblows, as I always like playing around with different technologies ;)
I'm looking forward to trying out some emu's and speedball 2 when my axim gets here.

Hmmm, odd. I just got my reciept in the mail, but still no axim... Why did dell send it out seperately??

According to the shipping company's website, its still in transit... I want to know who opened my mail and gave the invoice to finance... (I wouldn't be mad if it came with the shipment, and the invoice was like right there, or faxed, but it _must_ have come in an envelope addressed to me...) Oh well... doesn't affect the shipment

Hey KKF, everytime I've dealt with Dell they send the invoice separately. I don't know why. Even when I bought the keyboard, I got the invoice in a separate mailed envelope....

Thats a little odd, but at the same time, you'll usually get the invoice first (big whoop!) :)
But yeah, the fact that it was in an envelope means it should have came to me first. Nothing to do with dell or purolator though. Doesn't speed up the shipping time either. :/
