Hey all, I just ordered a CF to PC card adapter. I would like to use my existing SMC PC Card 802.11b wireless card with it. Are there any drivers I need to install or it has it's own drivers? I can't seem to find any drivers for that card on SMC's website but they do have drivers for their CF Wireless cards, wonder if it's the same.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Also, has anyone tried a datapak pc card drive on the dells yet with an adapter? if it works it would be awesome, pc card drives are super cheap.

thx.

Not exactly the same, but hopefully sheds some light....

I am using the Linksys WCF12 wireless compact flash card in a PCMCIA converter on my laptop. I had to install the drivers for the Linksys PCMCIA card (downloaded from web) and not the drivers that came with my card.

I assume the reverse would work just fine (which is what you are looking for yes/no?)

I want to do the same, How can I do it? I tried to use the WPC11 v3 driver(as suggested in the socket forum), but cannot get it to install.
