media player wont play

Hello all, maybe you guys can help. I cant seem to get TCPMP to play any wmv files. I keep getting audio/video codec error. I was also wondering is there a way to make this my default player.

You should try posting on the tcpmp/codecodec forum. www.corecodec.com. I've never seen this error, and I have always used it with WMA files. Maybe try uninstalling and redownloading the file??

I agree with dgoldring about unloading and reloading the player or going the the sites forum. I still have trouble playing wma files and just avoid those files.

Go to Options\Settings\Select Page\File Associations and make sure that the box for WMV (eighth down) is checked.
