Tsk Task, Arrrgghh!
Hi, everyone
Don't post that much, but still in love with my X5 three long years after purchase.
Got a quick question: Does anyone have any idea why my task list on the Axim doesn't sync with the task list in Outlook?
I'm using an older version of Outlook, 2002 to be exact, but my Axim used to sync up with everything. Now it's lost its connection to Outlook's Tasks and threatens to do the same with Outlook's Notes.
I'm using ActiveSync 4.2.0, Build 4876, and resetting does no good.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
StarkMarc

I thought I'd read that wm2003 should use AS 3.8. AS 4.2 is for wm5.

Hmm.
My About screen says: MS Pocket PC, Version 4.20.1081 (Build 13100) 1996-2003.
Does this mean, as mentioned above, that I shouldn't be using ActiveStinc 4.2, and should've stuck with 3.8? Could that be the syncing prob right there?
Thanks to all.
Best,
StarkMarc

Do you have selected to sync? I know it's a long shot, but it is a possibility... :)

Si, I have it selected to sync in AS, and I've played around with every setting, there's not a bunch of them, to see if that would help. In the end, nada, bupkiss, zilch.
Does anyone have a line on whether I should/should not be using AS 4.2? One poster said I should be using AS 3.8, any opinions?
Thanks,
StarkMarc

Goooaaallll!!!
Thanks to all who responded.
It was indeed the fact I had AS 4.2 on my X5/computer.
Removed it, put 3.8 back on, and viola! AS works once more.
You guys/gals rock!
Best,
StarkMarc
