hi all, im new to the X5. Is there a way of filling out the address book via the desktop and then transferring. I have all my addresses already in address book on there ... seems such a waste of time filling it all out again on the x5!

Also a few weeks ago i downloaded a programme onto the pda and the whole thing seized up. I have a 250mb CF card in. Surely that should be enough. AND one more thing, anyone know where i can get hold of a pink cover for it?

Welcome to aximsite. You can use Outlook to enter all your addresses on your desktop and that will automatically sync to your axim. When you say you have "address book" I'm not sure if you mean you have a specific software called address book, but often you can automatically transfer data from virtually any software program directly to Outlook so you don't have to reenter everything.

A 250mb card should be plenty for most apps. What program seized on you?

You said you downloaded a program onto your pda and the whole thing seized up on you. Which program do you think caused it? Which programs do you have installed?

Often our pdas experience technical difficulties for no apparant reason and must undergo a "soft reset". This is like a restart on a desktop computer. After this they're just fine. This may have been what you experienced. If the software you downloaded is now working fine and you experienced no problems since the last time, then don't worry about it.

Meanwhile, there is tons of info on this site and plenty of people willing to share their expertise.
