Exclamation Help - Dr DivX 1.0

I need help...

I know how to encode, but i want to know what you use when you encode to your Axim (best for ppc use)

I can't find any tools to flip the movie 90 degrees left!

Where can i find it in Dr DivX 1.0?

From what I've seen of Dr. Divx, it has no provision for flipping the video. Hopefully it will be able to do this in the next update. If you use pocketmvp, you can rotate the video by pressing on the curved arrow.

Replay...

You can use virtualdub (do a search, you'll find it) for reformatting and rotating divx movies.

Go to the Multimedia forum and there is a pinned thread on how to do it. Works great... I've got the entire Star Trek collection converted down. They are pretty watchable, and come in at about 120MB each following the suggested settings in the thread I mentioned.

Actually with VirtuaDub its almost ridiculously easy:

1) Run VirtuaDub
2) Open initial file (any format that VD supports)
3) Choose Video->Filter, and then Add->Resize and Rotate, set your own desirable settins (resolution and 90 degrees left or right)
4) Choose Compression, set DivX 5.0.5 (probably), and then you can either choose the "Portable" profile, or set 300KBps, 320x240 and 25fps for the Axim.
5) You can also compress the audio (if its not already compressed) to MPEG3
6) Save As, and then copy resulted file to Axim

All done ;)
