I posted this request a couple of days ago and didn't get much response. Maybe the weekend will produce better results:

Does anyone know of a golf handicap program for the pocket pc? There are several for the Palm OS. I'm hoping someone has used a pocketpc version that they can recommend.

If you know how to calculate your handicap, then why not write your own algorithym in an excel file. that way you could easily input and recall scores and calculate your handicap. Just a thought. You could always use your handicap algorithymn with a database program as well then simply run a report off of the data you input.

I found one called golftek...it seems pretty good, and is only $7.

You can find it here:

I use a program called IntelliGolf.

http://www.intelligolf.com/

I used it on my Palm and just changed to Pocket PC when I got my Axim. There is a tour of the program right here. I use it to keep track of all the "side games" I like to play.

I'm using intelligolf now...I haven't paid for it yet, though. How do you like it? I guess you have the birdie edition if it tracks your handicap. I used golf track on my palm and handitrack for keeping my handicap. I loved both. I like intelligolf and will probably register it, it's just hard to justify the $40....that seems expensive relative to other programs. But, I'm sure I'll break down and get it :)

I really like it. I golf all the time, so I have lots of great info on my game.

I guess I just win money on the course! :D

I use it almost every weekend so the money isn't that big of a deal. If I golfed only 4-5 times a year, I might not have paid for it (nah of course it would). :)
