Word Mobile won't read file

I have a RTF file that is 1,289 kb's big and I see it fine on my desktop, but when I sync it to my Axim it show in the file list but will not load. The Axim thinks it's just a blank doc. I've tried it in main memory and on a CF card, neither works.

Any suggestions??

Did you sync it so that it is converted to Word Mobile. If you just write the file directly onto the Ax it sometimes is unable to read them. But if you copy the file and paste it using Active sync the file will be converted into word mobile format. Never tried .rtf so I may be wrong.

Before I put it on the CF card I did sync it. It did not work either, that's why I put it on the Cf card. I thought the file was taking to much main memory.

File is little too big, unless using a software that can handle such file, limit text file size below 1MB, or make it TXT file.
