The best thing I've seen is software called Calendar+. You can download it here http://www.freewareppc.com/clock/calendar.shtml

The Calendar Bar that comes with Battery Pack 2003 is a demo. That said, it's nice to have its display on the Today page, but I prefer Calendar+ better, and it's free to boot.

Calendar+ will let you display the whole month. It lists each days active appointments one at a time and creates a scroll to view the whole month.
