Printing to Canon BJC-80 using HP Mobile Software

I know that people have been successful with other printers but has anyone used the HP Mobile Printing (free) software to print to their Canon printer?

I keep getting an "out of memory" message when I try. However, when I put an HP driver and try with my Canon the printer responds and loads the document. Of course what it prints is just gobbley-gook with the wrong driver.

I've tried it with the exact same results as you. I finally gave up. I'm waiting and looking for anyone else who can figure it out.

I have a Canon BJC - 85 portable that I use on the road quite a bit. Sure hope someone finally figures it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for responding. even though it doesn't work it is always good to know I am not alone in this thing!

I wonder if people using this printer with an IPAQ have had the same problem?

I don't think it is even worth approaching Dell on, that would be the last of their worries right now

I have been tryin to do the same thing with my Canon BJC-80. Same error message... out of memory!!

I have tried several time, soft reset, etc. no go. I hope someone can find a solution to this.

OK, I think we can safely assume that this is not an error on our setup part. The same thing is happening to all of us. I hate to spring $40 for a program (Pocketboy or Pocketprint) when I should be able to get this one free.

Hopefully someone out there will have a solution
