dell X5 and msn chat
can anybody help me get chat on my dell axim X5 which i bought second hand recently. i can send and receive e-mails and i know that msn chat ended in the middle of october. i have a hotmail address and chat only appeared once on my pda? thanks

thanks for the information. i did the download and i still do not see chat on my axim. i still get the message service failed because the service is not responding. please try again later. i am at a complete lost of what to do. i bought this for my daughter at xmas and of course even though it has everything on it what she wants more is to be able to chat on her pda.

Are you able to access the Internet at all? And where are you looking for chat? If you mean MSN messenger, it should be under Start - Programs - MSN Messenger.

For what it's worth, I've confirmed that MSN messenger installed on X5 running WM2003 with all the final updates works fine.

Update
I had to do that update for mine to work and now it works fine. I have pocket pc 2003. I'm just not happy that you can't chat with yahoo messenger users like you can on the windows live messenger.
