Backlight prob (continued)

Well, I decided to keep using the X5 as long as I could see the display, but then, I crashed it, so I simply pushed the soft reset button, as it was totally locked up and, voila! My screen was bright again. I've tried everything to make it simulate what it did, and I just can't get it to do it! I have the axim that won't die! This is the 3rd problem it's had that it has recovered from

Yea it is, I dunno why it did that to me, as I said it must be the PDA that can't die. Everything that happens always corrects itself
