Wifi Fun. Or lack thereof.

Hey guys,

I bought a dell axim x5 300mhz off ebay for a steal, and thought wifi would be a great addon. So I went and bought an OvisLink 802.11b card http://www.ovislink.com/newovislink/Products/Wireless/WL-1100CF/WL-1100CF.asp"

I've installed the PPC 2003 drivers, and yeah that's the OS I'm using, I plug the card in and all I see is a blinking LED and everything just stops working. Nothing works at all, and the activity light on my router doesn't do a thing. Whether this is because the cards not scanning or not, I don't know. I had a look at the Aximsite wifi pages but couldn't find anything like this issue.

Hah. I gave up! Not exaclty, I decided to downgrade to 2002 and install drivers for that and it works :-)

Now, the only problem is that the wifi app installed see's the internet connection, but nothing else does

Anyone know why? I can't find any settings that would affect this...

Edit - To clarify, I meant that under the connection settings, I can't tell my PPC to use the.....It just started working as I typed this. Doh.
