Compared to other countries (especially the US) it seems like things are more expensive here in Sweden. It might be the exchange rates that are good, but probably it also is more expensive over here.
I purchased mine from the US and had it sent to me by my mom to avoid paying the higher prices here...(Which came back to haunt me in the end :( )
At this point I would have to guess a lot of it has to do with currency exchange rates and the weaker dollar...But that theory might be null if it's proved that before the weaker dollar prices were still much higher...
I'm sure a lot has to do with supply and demand...Dell is pretty big in the US...Not sure about other parts of Europe but here in southern Spain Dell is virtually unheard of...That might be different in the north as Madrid and Barcelona and other parts seem to be more advanced and refined...
