help, when i plug the ax in it say found new hardware

dont know what happened never had any problems before but now it is saying found dell usb axim hub and it is looking for the driver. i've had the ax for years and i dont have any disk that came with it. i think i might have figured it out, maybe go to dells website? any suggestions? am i right?

I've had that happen a few times in the past couple of years. It should set everything up on its own and Active Sync should sync with your PDA. If it doesn't, I'd suggest going to the Dell Forum and see if anyone else has had the same problem and what to do about it.

yeah that is excatly what happened before it set it self up on its own

i did do a hard reset recently that might have had something to do with it

try uninstalling activesync from Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs and installing it back...

trying in your Ax's CD isn't a bad idea either...
