X5 Sync Troubles

Sorry for the repost, but im hoping maybe i'll get more responces in the main forum.

I tried to sync my Axim X5 today after having not used it for a few weeks, and when i first plugged it in it synced fine, I installed a new game, soft reset it, and than it would not reconnect to my pc. My PC won't even detect it as being plugged in. I tried my laptop and it would not pick it up either. I even tried different ActiveSync versions, from 3.8 thru 4.5Beta, pulling all the batteries and letting it sit, as well as soft and hard resets, nothing. Any ideas why it suddenly won't work? Could it be the cable, or is it the PDA connector it's self?
