Worried DST Update for PPC2002?

After searching MS's website I can see updates for the changes to Daylight Savings Time for all the WM OS's (Win2003, 2003SE, WM 5), but I cannot find anything for DST changes for PPC2002.

A quick search of Aximsite didn't find anything, but maybe I missed something.

Has there been anything brought up about this? Does anyone know if there is a patch that will work for PPC2002 devices?

Thanks for the link.

No one in that thread has reported whether it works for PPC2002 or not. I guess I'll have to give it a try and find out. Methinks I'll make a backup before doing this. :)

I followed the 3 procedures last week for this (I sync via my pc), and I just got to thinking. The updater tool wondow came up for outook. I then ran the one for wondows mobile but I do not remember if anything was installed. I know there was no errors. There is nothing in remove programs on my X5. Is there a way that I can tell for sure if the Daylight Saving Time 2007 Update Tool for Windows Mobile took affect on my X5.

What would happen if I ran it again? thanks

Just change your ppcs time to 1:59am on march 11 2007. If the patch is applied correctly, it should spring forward to 3:00am. If it just goes to 2:00, 2:01... then the patch isnt working.

hi, Chrissss
Does it work for your ppc 2002? It does not work on my iPAQ ppc 2002.

I tried akheron's patch and I don't know if it worked.

There were a couple appointments that were an hour off before I applied the patch, and these were corrected after running the patch. But the main system time did not change. I changed it manually and then tried syncing. Nothing blew up so that was good.

I guess I'll wait until April (regular DST change time) and see what happens...
