x5 400mhz Reverting to ppc 2002 from 2003

I have a Dell Axim X5 400mhz wm2003,
Is it possible to revert back to wm2002.
I need the Belkin bt cf to work as the pda is used mainly for gps.
However with the conflicts in getting the bt working I am able to only connect to one com port on the gps and not able to use the tmc service.
Anyone able to offer advice.
wm2003 is not important to me but the bluetooth is.
I have tried restoring my saved 2002 rom but to no avail, will it work with a cf memory card,
