Symbol wifi card....

Have any of you all heard of this card....I just got one on ebay but i have no idea on quality.

Supposed to be an excellent card. Drivers/software compatible with Socket.

If you look at the card also, it looks almost identical to the Socket. I am willing to bet that it is the same manufacturers as the Socket but never had my hands on either to say so.

I have heard that it was a Socket clone also. What did you pay, were there any others available?

I have the Socket WLAN and when I enter the FCC id # (H9PLA4137P) at http://www.fcc.gov/oet/fccid/ it shows that the manufacturer is Symbol Technologies.

Yes, Symbol is the same card as the Socket. Same with many of their barcode and RF scanners.....both companies have identical models of many products.

Hmm... why would anyone buy the 'SOCKET' then if Symbol is half the price. Must be the label :)
