Question 300mhz or 400mhz?

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and I would like to know what type of Axim should I purchase. The 400mhz model with 64mb ram looks very sexy, but it comes with an extra bill of $145 CDN over the 300mhz model with 32mb ram. If I want to use this for gaming, listening to mp3s (legally of course....), other multimedia purposes, word processing, and surfing, which model would be the best for me in performance and value?

Thanks for your time,
-The Azkikr-

Both Basic and Advance models are great IMO for all that you want to do. But if you can afford to shell out the cash, go for the 400MHz model. At least you will have the memory if you intend to install a lot more apps, or more games, or both. Basic model can play games, play music, play videos, has a word processor, spreadsheet progrm, email program, etc. just as well as the Advance model. But a better investment is the Advance. I hope this helps a little in your decision.

For games like Chopper Alley, they look like they hog a lot of the PPCs resources. Will the game have more constant slow downs on the 300mhz model? Also will videos have lower fps on the 300mhz model?

Thanks

I tell people that if money is an object, buy the cheaper Axim and use some of the money you saved to buy accessories such as cases, screen protectors, WiFi cards, memory cards, and then software. If you can afford the extra and if you think you won't be happy with the lesser Axim, then buy the advanced.

It's hard to define what the basic won't do that the advanced will do.
