Do you baby your Ax?

What condition is your Axim in on a scale of:
1 (low) to 10 (high)

Use the following guidelines:
10=same as the day you unboxed it (really!)
8=maybe a mark or two on the screen
6=quite a few scratches on screen (no screen protector)
4=shows the wear and tear of being dropped serveral times
2=a least one mechanical part (e.g. D-pad) has broke
1=no longer functional

Yep, same here. Don't "baby" it, but it doesn't have a scratch on it. Of course, when not in the cradle, it's in its nice comfy Piel Frama case.

I am extremely scratch intolerant. So my Axim has never been out of a case or a screen protector. I give myself a 10. Can't say my case is scratch-free, though :D.

I ALWAYS take really good care of my "electronic things"...Computer, EOS D10, Sound equipment, and my newest addition, my Axim. I've only had mine less than a month, but I baby it and keep it in it's ugly Dell case until my custom Vaja case arrives! Right now it's ugly, but well protected. Cory

i wouldn't say i baby mine, but i do have a rhino case and i use screen protectors. so the only way it'll ever get a mark on it is if i somehow hit it on something when it's not in the case. and it's only not in the case when i have it in the cradle, so i guess it'll probably stay looking new it's entire life.

my case is pretty marred up though, but that's what it's for right? :D

Heh, yeah my aluminum case has collected quite a few scratches already and I've only had it a month. But I'm very happy that my baby is still in perfect condition. I scratched the screen on my last pda right away and now I'm very careful about screen protectors and cases.

I am very OCD about my Axim. I don't even like having a speck of dust on my screen. :crooked:

I have dust under my screen protector :crooked: (which i dont really care much because you cant notice with backlight)
but other than that I take good care of it. I've had it for 3 weeks :)

I'd hate to see a scratch on its beautiful design though, or the screen. My rhinocase takes good care of it

I don't have a screen protector yet, thats why my screen has a few scratches on it, but you cant see them with the back light on, only when outside, and still then you have to look for them

I forgot to add, i like to keep the cradle nice and shiny too :D I use the soft cloth like the ones they include in eyeglass cases to get rid of the fingerprints. I love the look of the cradle
