I have been testing my axim with a netgear cf wireless card to see how well it works with pocket explorer. Well, i ran into some problems that if anyone has same problems please reply. Well, i haven't been able to view my hotmail on this unit, it says page can't be displayed or something. Most browsers have 128 bit encription according to Dell techs its only 40 bits and no update insight from Microsofts site or is there one for pocket explorer? Well, the other test was to go to my on line banking site for some testing, well it took my password and i was able to see balances but it told me i should log off cause my browser was 3.1 or something like that. Then as i was going to pay a bill it locked up on site, but that could just be the software in my axim. Another thing is every so often my pocket explorer locks up but not the Axim. So if anyone has sites to upgrade or download another pocket explorer with higher encription please help. They said i could not do that that there would be a conflict if i download maybe netscape or another pocket explorer?

Please help i ready to return unit.

Thanks,
Phil

How did you find out that it is 40-60 bit? ... Just curious. Are you accessing hotmail through hotmail.com or are you going through mobile.msn.com?

Dell is incorrect. Pocket IE is a 128 bit browser.

The problem is that websites report Pocket IE 2002 as IE 3.02 and that might be why you are having trouble. Try this to "fix" this problem.
