Dimming by itself...

I have two Axims with the same power settings. One, however, turns on in the most dim settng whenever it is not turned on for a couple hours. What other setting can be causing this?

Does it do this consistently? If not, you may just be holding the power button down too long. A short press will turn it on, a long press will turn it on with the backlight off.

You can have different settings under power and brightness...have you checked both? (accessible in links at the bottom of the screen) Maybe this is the problem?
