Once the Axim is fully charged, how long can I use it, before it must be recharged?

It depends on what you are doing. If you are using it for basic functions you can go a long time (6-8 hours). If you have a wifi card, the mileage is reduced. You can adjust your processor speed and backlight to get longer life.

With my regular battery, I can play games off of my CF card, with backlight on one notch above off, and processor speed set to auto, for a little over five hours. If I just read e-books, or messed with the calendar, contacts, etc., I would probably be able to manage a good deal more.

I deselected the choices "Turn on device if a program button is pressed" and "Turn on device if a record button is pressed" because my Axe kept turning on every time I bumped my case during driving, etc... This had some effect on my battery life.
