Grrrrr @ Dell's Couriers

My Axim was supposed to arrive today & as I was out most of the day I expected to get home to find a couriers contact card lying on in my hallway...

Only there wasn't

...

So I looked up my order on the couriers track & trace facility & found this:

Call the 800 # and tell them that you are there. They will radio for the courier to come back out.

Definitely call. since you didn't get a card you may want to verify your address with them. But most likely they will have to come the next day if their route is out of the way right now. Or you can ask the courier to hold on to it and you will pick it up if you are in a rush. I did that because I couldn't wait until the next day to receive mine.

I always end up picking my stuff up. I work during the day and they never seem to deliver in the evening, 3PM on. (I am always on the morning run....unless I am off then I am on the evening run.) :crooked:

But I think Repo knows that the UK couriers won't allow you to pick up from a depot (at least that's my experience)....and over here it's was already 6.44pm when he posted so no chance for a redelivery today....
Sorry Repo...hope you can get your hands on your ax soon...at least when you do it will be worth it!

Still got my Standard Axim (the new one was the Performance) ... although I let the kids play Diamond Mine on it last night & I can't seem to get it back off them

Oops, didn't anyone tell you not to let your kids play with it? Mine have discovered Snails ;). I'm getting another for them so I don't have to hear "Mom, can I play Snails?" all day long.

Mine has an eta of today on the tracking, so I have arranged for a friend to stay at mine today while me and the missus are at work. When I phoned Walsh & Western (Dell's UK couriers) yesterday, they said the eta is accurate. If it doesn't arrive today, I will perform telephone death!

On the 5 Aug.. Ihad a call from Walsh Western and arranged for delivery today 9 August. My wide and son stayed at home ALL day to receive the parcel. Nothing arrived.

Then at 19:50 the website was updated to show "CUSTOMER NOT AT HOME - CARD LEFT at 10:05".

Well we have no card.. and at 10:00 till about 10:30 my wife was stood outside the house ...

So obviously the courier went to the wrong address or decided he did not want to deliever today. How %^"£"£$ frustrating !!!!

Walsh are gonna get a rocket tomorrow.
