Since there is a ton of useless software out there I thought it might be nice to have an ongoing post dedicated to USEFULL Free software that we all could probably use.

Here is some to get us started:

I love 'My Shopping List', but my wife loves it more. I always forget things when I go to the store. Not any more! :D My only beef is the program is only designed for one list. Multiple lists would be nice, but what do you want for free! :P

Check out 'Conversion' ( Conversion ) . Awesome little conversion program that's only like 20.5k. Converts area, bits and bytes, density, energy and work, force, length and distance, mass and weight, money (july, 2002 rates), power, pressure and stress, speed, temperature, and volume or capicity. Thanks to scott and michelle, their website also has numerous other usefull freeware apps. Check it out!

I like My Shopping List too. I'm trying it and a $14 one that has a few more options before I decide which one to stay with.

I'll throw my hat in the shopping list software ring and recommend:

ShopEZ

Features:
- Keep your shopping list or wish lists in baskets
- Add your own items
- Add your own categories
- Add your own baskets
- Organize items in multiple categories
- Detailed report for basket -- expense, amount, etc
- One tap insertion of items to shopping list
- One tap to change status of an item in basket
- Inline editing -- tap and hold Qty or Amt then edit!
- Be a bit creative, use it as Todo List Manager
- Or check list for that matter

Oh and bookmark the main site too... nice selection of PPC freeware - some pretty obscure!

Been surfing thru aximsite.

Alot of great freeware programs that I would probably have not installed unless recommended by my fellow community members.

Can we start posting these in our downloads area (which is looking kinda sad with 5 freeware downloads)
