I believe this has been posted before, but I can't find it. I must have missed one of my outlook alarms and when I got home I plugged my Axim is to charge. This morning my wife told me she heard the Axim alarm and sure enought it was from yesterday's appointment. Here's the rub. When I got to work this morning I checked the battery level and I was down to 80%. Was the Axim on all night. If I remember from the last post, nothing short of shutting off the alarms can remedy this. Is this true? I would of thought that the machine would still power down after a certain amount of inactivity or does the alarm keep waking it up.

The Axim is designed to stay on as long as it is in the cradle. You can turn it off with the power button, but if anything happens (such as an alarm) it will just stay on.

The cradle can charge an Ax while it is on.

Other posts have mentioned that the battery indicator varies.

It sounds like everything is OK.
