Look at snoopsoft.com. Not free, but includes a lot of other nice features -- launcher, battery monitor, etc.

Calendar + *rocks* - I've used quite a few PIM utilities and none do what it can :D

Take a look at Agenda Fusion. Unfortunately, it is not free, but it has a great calendar and tasks section. The contacts aren't bad either. Check out the trial, for free, of course. :P

My vote is for Calendar +. It does the job and free is good.
