Movie conversion help

Hi everyone,

I'm wanting to start using my Axim as a portable movie player, and I've got a couple of flicks that, in divx format are around 240mb (AVI) for both parts.

I have Windows Media Encoder installed and I converted the first part to a movie I had last night, and not only did it have to play through the entire first half, it ended up cutting the size from 125mb to 96mb.

I'm wondering if there is:

- A faster way
- A better and more efficient compression method
- A better program to use
- Any other tips for batch converting standard movie files into WMV
