Activ Sync Not Responding

Is there a proper way to exist Activ Sync?

With my PDA after I remove it from the cradle, I keep getting a message that Activ Syn is not responding. I am also getting this frequently with another app.

Any suggestions?

Do you have the settings for Activesync set correctly? Disconnect the Ax. Tap Start, Activesync, Tools, Options, Schedule and make sure the middle box is unchecked.

Yes, the middle box is not checked. After checking these settings as set forth in your post, I tried to x out of ActivSync and still got the message ActivSync Not Responding. I just click OK or cancel and it is fine, but I don't understand why I keep getting the message.

Next time try exiting the ActiveSync while you are *IN* the cradle. The desktop and Ax work in tandem. If you try to exit ActiveSync when *NOT* in the cradle it is simply telling you that the desktop portion is *NOT* responding. Otherwise, press OK in switcher and it will close on the Ax.
