Mad BIG Problem syncing calendar

Been waiting for my Axim (all my life) Finally got it and it is great. Have one problem tho.

I already had and used outlook 2002 for my calendar on my pc... have probly 10,000 events in there. I went to sync and contacts, tasks, etc synced fine... the calendar events were even there, but some of the events were wrong! Some of the meetings and such were set for the next day instead of the right day!

I have talked to Dell and they really didn;t understand. I was thinking maybe it doesn;t allow double booking, the dell guy said it did... but that is when it seems to be screwing up the most. It works fine on the outlook on the pc... If I have an all day busy event for monday... and I had scheduled a meeting from 11-1 ... and I had scheduled a meeting from 12-2,... it would give me my all day event for monday, sometimes give me one of the meetings, if it doesn;t bump it to tuesday, and the 3rd event would certainly get bumped to tuesday if not wed.

This sux.

I'm sure that you have the same problem, but we have 13 Axim's in service. When we start to see problems like this, the clock on one of the machines is off. Check both machines, double check on the daylight savings settings. Hope this helps some.

I had a similar problem when I got a new home computer and was syncing between my work computer and it. Turned out it was the daylight savings time that was screwing things up, once that was fixed my appointments appeared at the right time and my full day events reverted back from the screwy multiday events they had become.

Well, the clocks and the daylight savings time was the same thing that dell is telling me to do... I tried all of it and it is still not working. Dell is insistent that you can do double booking and wants me to try to uninstall and reinstall Active Sync. They are thinking that the Active Sync had a corrupt install. I'm trying that today and I will post what happens.
