Mad Just got a order delay email from Dell

We have reviewed your order. Although we had anticipated being able to ship your order sooner, we are experiencing an unexpected delay and will not be able to ship this

We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause.

At least they caught the problem before they sent yours out, so i think you should wait and know that yours is problem-free.

Mad

I got the same response, and all I did was order a couple of cradles. Looks like they are taking the sledgehammer approach.

I have to admit, it's kind of weird to read people so quick to jump ship over one significant glitch. WM2003 is definitely a 'must have', but it's not exactly life changing. Dell definitely screwedup, but as someone already noted: you already *have* the PDA. Why throw it away because you couldn't get it right away and had to wait a little longer than other PPC owners.

It's like running out of gas on a long trip and deciding it's better to just abandon the car, set fire to it and go home. It just seems like overkill - major overreaction, to me.
