Howdy, I finally got my Ax yesterday and I've got 3 quick questions. This is my first Pocket PC, I was using a Visor Deluxe before this...and I am NEVER going back!

1. While the battery is recharging, is it bad to turn on the Axim and use it? And is it bad to leave the Axim in the charger all night while I sleep?

2. I have some music videos I would like to watch that are about 50mb and I do have a 128mb storage card. I really only want to put one on so that I can show this beauty off to all my friends stuck with Palms. :D Do I need one of those CF card readers/writers to do this or can I put large files directly on the card with the software/hardware (just the 300 Ax, 128mb cf card, and software that came with the Ax) that I have?

3. Any out there that uses the LDS EZ Reader program? I had a ton of books for it on my Visor, and now I have the Pocket PC version of Reader installed on my Ax. I have also been able to put all of my book files on, and they even have the little church icon next to them, but when I open up EZ Reader it can't find them.

Thanks for the great site and forum, I've been lurking here awhile, and have had many questions already answered.

1. You can use the Ax while charging, no problem. Also, leaving it in the cradle all night to charge is perfect, just what it wants. LI ION batteries like to be kept fully charged and the charging circuits will taper off after it's fully charged.

2. You should be able to copy the file to the Ax using Activesync Explore. Open Activesync, Explore, navigate to the Card, find the directory you want to put the video into. Now on the PC open the window where the video is and drag'n'drop it from there into the Ax window. It'll copy just fine, albeit slower than with a card reader.

3. Can't help, don't use the software.
