Hey everyone,

On the iPaq unit, there's a little button that runs the iTask software... and I loved it. Without cluttering the task bar, you could turn a hardware button into the task manager - like hitting CTRL + ALT + DEL and bringing up the task manager in Win2k/XP.

I'm wondering if this is a Compaq-proprietary piece of software, or if it can be modified to use on the Axim unit...?

I love the various utilities like the WISbar/icBar - but I just want something hardware-controlled...

:(

Thanks in advance!

Nick

That would certainly be a neat little thing.

Did a little search and GigaTask does this apparently. Take a look at: http://handango.com/PlatformProductDetail....productId=31146

Thumbs Up, who wrote Gigatask, also wrote iTask according to this link: http://www.foxpop.ndirect.co.uk/PocketPC/iTask.htm

Hope this helps!

Ask... and ye shall receive!!!

Picture 1!
Picture 2!
And picture 3!

It's so awesome to have this back...

Now all I ask for is to have the cool little pop-up brightness manager and to get that cool "iTask" logo back on there! ;)

But I have faith, it will come... Oh yes, it will come! :D
