Hi All,

What "Landscape Mode" software applications are people using that work?

FYI: I tried dotPocket and it crashed my Axim ... (Problem confirmed by software developers).

Bye & thanks

People need to start using the Search feature that all forums come with.

Since I wasted my time writing that I might as well just add that you can go to the pocketop website and download the pocketop keyboard drivers, for free even if you dont have the keyboard and it gives you the ability of change the orientation of yoru screen. They are axim tested.

Aww, cut the guy some slacks But I do concur... a lot of these questions are covered in previous threads... or even a simple google would suffice sometimes. On the otherhand, ppl sometimes get overwhelmed with the amount of threads/msges, or they simply have a hard time coming up with the 'keyword' (not in this case tho)

Anyway, jvrooman u could also try JS LandscapeX from Jimmy Software

Or:
Virtual display byNyditot

Both of these supposedly offer 'extra' features like zoom/pan, etc.. I would recommend virtual display over jimmy... but mind you, both of these are not 100% Axim compatible (ie: the special features do not work perfectly)

OK,

Here's where it looks like things stand right now...

I've deducted from the topic responses that in order to use the Axim in some sort of a Landscape mode the following can be deducted...

dotPocket = don't use
dotPocket

JS LandscapeX from Jimmy Software = limited functionality and is not 100% Axim compatible.
Jimmy Software

Virtual Display byNyditot = more features than Jimmy Software, but still limited functionality and is not 100% Axim compatible.
Nyditot

Pocketop keyboard drivers = Less features, compatible, axim tested and therefore might be the best option even if you don't have or use the Pocketop keyboard.
Pocketop Inc.

Anyone have other product options, or tesimonials regarding their personal experience with using the above mentioned product on the Axim?

Personally, I'm not happy with how Virtual Display by Nydiot is working on my Axim.

Keep the suggestions & feedback coming.
