I had one heck of a time putting in my Boxwave Cleartouch screen protector last night. The problem is that I kept getting fuzz (and yes, I did perform the bathroom trick) on the sticky side of the protector. I'd wash it off and it'd come off but I'd just get more fuzz on it whenever I'd dry it off with my microfiber cloth. I tried drying it off with different cloths and napkins, etc. but the fuzz would still find its way on the friggin thing!
I finally did manage to get it on with no bubbles and just a tiny bit of dust, but I'm not happy with it...I'm concerned that the dust that did get trapped under the screen will scratch the screen itself. I wish I had done what other people suggested and apply the protector as you're taking the protective sticker off it!
Any suggestions on keeping the fuzz off the sticky side of these protectors?
I'm sorry I don't have any advice to give you. This is why I do not use the sticky protectors. Not to mention that I used to end up with finger prints on the sticky side, too, which was highly annoying to me. That is the good thing about Write Shield. They are more static cling than sticky.

this is a problem with all sticky screen protectors that is easily solved:
use the bathroom trick
turn on the hot water in your bathroom until there is a little bit of steam in the air. wash off your SP and clean your axim screen and then apply the SP while in the bathroom.
the bathroom trick didnt work for me really. when i first did it, took like 15mins then couple days after i redid it lol. I've had the same thing for a couple weeks now, with some dust underneath. You cant really see it with the backlight on, only when there is sunshine and you're using it outside.
sombody in tips/tricks forum said to use the laundry "bounce" it prevents dust. I havent tried that
the boxwave cleartouch from executivepda. bottom left end is a little bent lol, you cant really notice it but because the thing is so much bigger than the screen it messed up from putting it under the corner of the screen..
I think the steam did the job, but my problem was that I couldn't figure out how to get the wet screen protector dry without gunking it up with dust and lint. What do you guys do when you wash your Boxwaves?
I use the write shield and the first time I got my set I messed up my first one. I tried to wash it, then couldn't figure out how to dry it, and ended up throwing it away.

I also had problem even with the bathroom thing. So I let it steam up some more. Bad idea. There is now a TINY bit of moisture trapped under a small part of the protector. Not enough to hurt anything, but there is a little rainbow on the screen in florescent light.
The thing I have done in addition to using the bathroom is to use not scotch tape, but packing tape. I use one piece on the top, and one on the bottom, and two pieces on the Axim. I pull the top piece off the protector and the Axim at the same time and apply it, then remove the bottom pieces and apply those. I have tried to apply it while removing the backing, but I can never get it straight that way, but with the tape I can align the top part before I remove the bottom.
