Nope, don't go anywhere. I think even non Axim users have something to contribute to our forum. We can all learn from each other :).

OK - new rule !

Silly suggestions like that get the suggestor BANNED !!!

No really, I welcome PPC users from all brands, Even if you overpaid for a PPC, you are still welcome here. As a user on Pocketpcthoughts told a newbie with a 2215, "You can also check out the Tutorial from Aximsite . This site is tailored to Dell Axim owners but some of the basic concepts can be applied to any PPC."

That is the type compliment I love to see about our site !!!

The 2215 even looks like an Axim don't you think ? Black rubber side grips and all, when I saw it I thought...wha?....a new axim and I didn't know ?!?

Seriously though, most of the info on this site could apply to any PPC...apart from model-specific bugs.

I'd like to see more input from users of other models...more people = more expertise to share and hey Axims will probably be replaced by something else in a year or two.

I am so digging this site right now. I don't even have my X5 yet, but I'm learning quite a bit here. This is definitely a great community, and I'm glad I'l be a part of it, shortly after my ship date of the 7th :)

I don't see anythig knocking the Axim out of the top 4 any time soon, and for it's first year on the market, this little box is kicking some butt.

I got my ipaq 2210 cheaper than my axim x5 but the axim is still a value for money pda. U cannot beat the price that is if u get it at retail price.

I think the 2210 is a fine PDA, but that being said I don't think most of the HP product are worth the money, when the Axim X5 advanced came out, it had the features and performance of PDAs costing 50% more, one has to remember that Dell has probably the most efficient production and cost structures in the business.

It's not that Dell is being more lavish or cheaper than HP or anybody else in the buisness, they just have the ability to produce products at a quality that most will like and a price that people see as reasonable.

One of the reasons that the handheld market as a whole is suffering is because the general public does not see the PDA as something it can't live without, especially at the prices of some of the upper market devices, 500 or 600 hundred or more by most people is seen as overpriced by many.

The 2210 is nice and I like it, but would I trade in my six month old X5 advanced for a PDA that's slighty smaller and a little lighter, no, Not at 400 dollars or a little less.
Dell"s making progress in a depressed market because they are finding the sweet spot where many are willing to shell out the money versus the return on investment for what they get.

All this being said, I am waiting to see the next release from Dell, as rumored in November, My wife is after me to give her my X5, if this new smaller AX comes out, I'll pass over the Hp 1945 and give my money to Dell again.

This site is a great resource for Pocket PC users and even if it is tailored to Dells Axim it is still a great place to share information no matter what unit you have.

I would have been happy with a Dell but with all of the delays I decided to get a HP but will continue to come here for information and this site is always my first stop.

This is truly the best site for Pocket PC information and the Owner should be proud of what he has accomplished. This site just keeps growing and now has a sister site for Tablet PC that I have pointed some my friends too so I hope it does just as well.
