I think the 2210 is a fine PDA, but that being said I don't think most of the HP product are worth the money, when the Axim X5 advanced came out, it had the features and performance of PDAs costing 50% more, one has to remember that Dell has probably the most efficient production and cost structures in the business.
It's not that Dell is being more lavish or cheaper than HP or anybody else in the buisness, they just have the ability to produce products at a quality that most will like and a price that people see as reasonable.
One of the reasons that the handheld market as a whole is suffering is because the general public does not see the PDA as something it can't live without, especially at the prices of some of the upper market devices, 500 or 600 hundred or more by most people is seen as overpriced by many.
The 2210 is nice and I like it, but would I trade in my six month old X5 advanced for a PDA that's slighty smaller and a little lighter, no, Not at 400 dollars or a little less.
Dell"s making progress in a depressed market because they are finding the sweet spot where many are willing to shell out the money versus the return on investment for what they get.
All this being said, I am waiting to see the next release from Dell, as rumored in November, My wife is after me to give her my X5, if this new smaller AX comes out, I'll pass over the Hp 1945 and give my money to Dell again.
