Can't Synchronize

I plug in my Axim and my computer recognizes a new device. ActiveSync doesn't launch or anything. I try launching ActiveSync from the Dell...nothing. I have ActiveSync 3.7

Please can somebody help me?

goofy things happen with active sync.
here are some things you can try (also MS has stuff under PPC on their site):
-soft reset of axim
-reboot pc (MS says to connect PPC after reboot completes)
-delete partnership on PC, it will ask to recreate when connected
-reinstall active sync on PC
-try a different cable / cradle
-make sure you have enough free memory on your PPC

:these are in no particular order, and could be tried individually.
