Program removal

I have an anim 400 and I think its great. Anyway I have a problem and want to see if anyone had a fix for it. I have serveal programs I have removied. However if I go to my prog. menu the program I removed is it there and It wont let me uncheck it. Right now I have 2 programs I have removed and its taking :( up 2 of my 9 spots. How can I take care of this problem.

Have you tried a soft reset? And how did you uninstall it? Did you use the Add/Remove Programs on the PPC, or from Active Sync?

The start menu is confiurable. You can set up to 9 programs. Go to Start menu, Settings, personal, menus. Everything checked will be on the start menu.

When you de-install programs, it is common for the icons to be left behind. To delete the icons, go to File Explorer / my device / windows / start menu. Icons will be here or in a subdirectory. Click & hold to delete the icon.

It would seem that you can control what shows up in the start menu by adding or deleting icons in windows/start menu. I never tried it. I'm content to go to settings.

Thanks guys that did the trick. I figured it was in there some where just didnt know where. When I del a program I use the remove program icon in settings. Anyway thanks again. :D
