hold function anyone?

Is there a program that lets you have the "hold" function as you would find on cd players?

Pocketmusic allows you to lock the buttons but a specific application that locks the buttons and the screen where you have to press 2-3 buttons to unlock would be useful. Anyone?

I don't know why you need to have a hold function but I needed a similar thing for listening to mp3's and the Axim was in my pocket and kept getting paused and stuff.

My solution was to use a screen toggle program to switch off the screen so that nothing got activated. It's pretty hard for the buttons to get pressed accidentally as they are recessed so well.

GSPlayer and PocketMVP have pretty good hardware button support. They are the only players I know of that can use the Record button for the screen toggle. I like using the four main hardware buttons for switching songs, play and stop. With WMP or other programs that don't support the Record button, I end up using the Nav Enter button. That usually gets pushed while in my pocket.
