Probably the only real limiting factor in my life
(and I mean this in the absolute BEST kind of way!)
is my relationship with my 16 year old (Number ONE) SON!!!!!!!

Wow starsounds like you did it right. My wife just started school, so I've just become MR. Mom. Wasn't worth paying $376.00 per week for daycare when im out busting my ass all day to bring home a $200.00 a week profit after daycare. So now i watch the kids ( 3 year old son, and a 9 month old daughter). It's alot of fun, he is old enough start taking care of alot of his own needs, going to the bathroom, getting a drink, and she still sleeps most of the day. I love it, I was working alot when he was this young, so i get to see all the things i missed by not being there all the time. She is becoming a real daddy's girl though. :-) Oh well, sorry to continue off topic.
Wow, Star. Hehe! I know exactly what you are talking about. Mine are still primary school aged-youngest is 7 going on 20 ;). They already are eating us out of house and home. We're thinking I am going to have to go back to work full time when they get a little older just to be able to afford the grocery bill :rolling:.
**But Star, you are really doing away with your bad boy image with that post, you know? :D

I am doing the Mr. Mom thing, my company was downsizing and wanted me to move to Europe, my wife had a very well paying job and we just had a child so I went back to school to watch my daughter, finish my degree, and do computer work for people on the side. It has been great, if I was still working for my company and did not have to move I would have been travelling all the time, I do not want to be an absent father. I enjoy the time I have with my daughter, and my mother in law watches here when I am in school or have computer related jobs to do. I built my deal site as senior project, I program and add content, in the morning before she wakes up, during nap time, and after she goes to bed.
It is a lot harder than I thought it would be, but it is rewarding to have the close relationship I have with my 2.5 year old daughter.
My only problem is trying to keep my daughter from breaking my Axim/laptop/or cellphone...
